FAQ

Do you have a question about the emblems, how they are made, or what they're made from? Check out our FAQs.

What material are the emblems made from?

Craftwork Emblems are built to stand the test of time and are designed to live on your car through the harshest of elements. Unlike the competition, who use cheaply produced plastic emblems that are only covered in thin metallic layer; our emblems our solid metal. Our beautiful enamels are made of a composite cloisonné and are applied by hand by our artisans - true works of art.

How are the emblems attached to the vehicle?

Our emblems are attached to your car with a laser cut, 3M automotive adhesive backing. The backing will never fail and like our emblems is designed to handle anything you can throw at it.

Can I remove the emblem?

Even though our adhesive backing will never fail, it's also built to be easily removed without harming your car’s paint.

Our emblem’s backings adhere well to cars with wraps on them. However, removing our emblems from a wrap is NOT recommended as it could affect the vehicle’s wrap.

Where can I place the emblems on my car?

Our adhesive backing is strong enough for you to put your emblems anywhere on your car that has a (relatively) flat surface! We think the emblems look best on the back of your vehicle or on the front quarter panel above and to the back of the front wheel wells. The adhesive backings have a 2mm foam center to address a slight curvature where you might apply the emblem.

What if my emblem isn’t perfect?

These emblems are true one-off works of art. Because our artisans enamel each emblem by hand and because they are then fired in a kiln at very high temperatures, there are small “imperfections” in the enamels that make your emblem unique to you. We produce our emblems in very small batches and inspect every one before we send it to you. However, if you are in any way unhappy with your emblem, we will happily replace it with another.

What about my state!?

We are working hard to expand our portfolio of designs! However, we are a small company and our designs require a lot of work to come to fruition. Feel free to email us and let us know what state you want designed next!
